Sarah Lark with Adam Gwon

You might have seen a post that I wrote last week about a new musical coming to the Finborough Theatre next week – Ordinary Days by a fantastic American composer called Adam Gwon. Unfortunately, if you haven’t booked your tickets yet to see the show, you have probably missed your chance, as it’s now sold out, so you’d have to try to get your hands on a return if you wanted to see it.

However, I was excited to discover that Adam Gwon himself will be coming to London this weekend, and will be performing with West End stars including I’d Do Anything’s Sarah Lark

Your next chance to see Sarah Lark performing

Judging by the number of people who read anything I write about ‘I’d do Anything’, people still want to know what happens to the competitors. And as part of my recent attempts to collate and publish press releases for upcoming shows, I have discovered that Sarah Lark’s next performance in London will be taking place less than 10 minutes from my home, at Lauderdale House in Highgate.

I’d Do Anything finalists – where are they one month later?

Soon after the series finished, I wrote a blog post about my predictions for what each of the girls is doing next. Exactly one month later, I thought it was worth taking a look to see what has happened in the meantime, and find out whether life really has changed for any of the finalists. So here’s the news…

I’d Do Anything – 12 finalists and my predictions for what comes next

It’s now nearly a week since the final of I’d Do Anything, so the dust has started to settle. Having blogged about the show throughout the series, I still had some opinions that I wanted to share… So in the first of my last few posts about ‘I’d Do Anything’, here’s my rundown on each of the 12 finalists, with my predictions on where their career will go next. They are in order of their position in the show (12 = the 1st person to have been voted out of the competition)…

Read on to find out what I think – I’d also love to know if you have any other ideas, or have heard gossip or rumours!

I’d Do Anything – The Final & The Winner

So, after 10 live shows, the hunt for Nancy is over – Jodie Prenger will be playing Nancy in the West End when it opens in December, and I am delighted for her. I thought last night’s final was excellent, and once again, the public have succeeded in picking a winner who will shine when she opens in the role.

I’d Do Anything – the semi final result

For my views on Saturday night’s live show, click here.

It’s Monday morning, and the dust has now settled on another dreadful result in I’d Do Anything. Rather unbelievably, Jessie managed to survive the semi-final, without even being voted into the bottom two. She must have a huge amount of support behind her to manage this, because two of the judges thought she deserved to go, and she has now had a run of poor performances over the last few weeks.

I’d Do Anything – Week 10 reaction (delayed)

As you’ll know if you read my week 9 post here, I have been on holiday for the last 2 weeks, so I have been catching up on the last 2 weeks’ shows.

Last night, I watched last Saturday’s live show (17th May), and I’ll watch the results show tonight so that I am up-to-date before tomorrow’s semi-final…

As the weeks go on, something slightly strange is happening – I’m getting less and less convinced in the girls’ ability to play the role. In the previous 2 series, I had made up my mind long before this stage, where this time around, I’m still not quite sure who I want to win. If you want to know what I’m thinking, read on for my full reaction:
