I don’t work in the theatre world, and therefore have no unique professional insight that qualifies me to write this blog. I’m just someone that loves going to the theatre and likes to talk about it.

My love of theatre really took off when I was a student, when I worked on a number of shows. Since I started a day job, I have to get my theatre fix as an audience member instead.

This blog will include the following types of post

  • My own reviews of shows (musicals and non-musicals)
  • Round-up of reviews for new shows
  • A weekly round-up of musical theatre news (on a Friday)
  • Recommended CDs for musicals
  • Recommended theatre websites
  • Anything else I want to write about (e.g. what’s on, coming soon, response to something I’ve read)

In addition, I spent a fair bit of time over recent months writing about the BBC show, ‘I’ll Do Anything’ with my observations on the competition. Obviously the series is now over, but if you have enjoyed what I have had to say, do stick with me when the show finishes!

Welcome to my blog!
